 Mamfe Methodist Girls SHS Wins World Trophy. Mamfe Methodist Girls SHS has won the World Robotics and Coding Competition. The Methodist Girls Senior High School in the Eastern Region has won for the second time in the world Robotics and Coding Competition. The Girls were able to beat their counterparts, the Avenues FLL MG Team from Avenue World School (AWS) based in New York City, USA. The competition was held virtual consisted of 5000 teams across the world.

 The Rebecca Foundation has Handed Over a Newly Constructed Library. The Rebecca Foundation has commissione d and handed over a newly constructed Library in Kumawu in the Sekyere Kumawu District on Friday 19th Feb.2021. This is in support to the District Assembly and the Ghana Library Authority in the Ashanti Region. The library was constructed, furnished, and resourced by the Rebecca Foundation with the aid of Ghana Education Service, Ghana Library Authority and Book Aid International. Through the " Learning to Read Reading to Learn" initiative by the Rebecca Foundation, people at Wenchi, Sefwi Debiso, Moree, Daffiama Bussie Issah and Amasaman has benefited from the library constructions. Very soon, the foundation will commission and hand over libraries at Bortianor and Dambai making eight libraries in total the foundation has constructed. Rebecca Foundation is founded by the first lady of the Republic of Ghana, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo.
